Stramash has now been set to page and sent to the printer. Receiving the book will mean a number of things: people, including me, will start to believe that it actually exists; I’ll have time to write on this blog (though this may translate into dusting my keyboard, not an innuendo, more frequently); and Gray family bonfires will be well stoked with free copies come November 5th.
The finished article, in pdf form at least, is aesthetically satisfying; there’s a superlative cover image and a beautifully original footballing map of Scotland, both of which I’ll post here soon. Having already seen this morning’s Homes Under the Hammer, I’ve taken a window of opportunity to soup-up the blog, too, albeit with Tesco Value Minestrone. For example, the About section now contains a list of the towns, teams and fixtures I saw and wrote of. Because it takes up a lot of space, I’ll paste it here and bid you farewell until I’ve something to actually say.
